What is Clarion Forensics?

Simply put, Clarion Forensics is a competitive speech and debate club for Christian, homeschooled families; with competition being limited to 12-18 year olds.

Clarion is made up of families who want to equip their young people to speak boldly for Christ and engage the culture on important issues.

We are one of many clubs who are affiliates of NCFCA (National Christian Forensics and Communications Association) and HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association).

Besides that, we’re a club that loves to have a hootin’ good time!

    What does ‘Clarion Forensics’ mean?

The definition for ‘Clarion’ is actually a medieval trumpet that gives a clear high-pitched tone. We put clarion in our club name to symbolize the God-given instrument that we all have; that is, the voice.

‘Forensics’ means the practice or study of formal debate. And since logical reasoning and debate is an important part of our club we chose to add this to our name also.

    How Can I Get Involved?

1. Come visit us at one of our club meetings. We meet at Grants Pass High School in the east wing of the campus, on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. 2. Become an affiliate with NCFCA. 3. And, of course, you can contact us here.
